About Us
Rona is the Co-ordinator of Hearts and Flowers and believes that organic growing is vital to the health of ourselves and our planet's future. Rona manages Hearts and Flowers’ community engagement programme ensuring that hundreds of local residents have the chance to connect with nature every year.
Herbie (they/them) is our Supported Gardening Co-ordinator. They organise and facilitate these sessions, help run the Roots to Resilience sessions and generally help with whatever needs done on site. They’re passionate about making green spaces accessible and welcoming for everyone. "Everyone should have access to locally grown, seasonal, organic food and flowers."
Our co-founder and great friend, Helen Manson sadly died earlier this year after a short illness. Helen loved plants and the natural world and put her mind, heart and soul into Hearts and Flowers. We miss her greatly.
